The Company was founded by Gerry Threadgold who has a 1st class BA (Hons) in Insurance Studies is an ACII and Chartered Insurance Practitioner. He has over 40 years of experience in underwriting, claims, technical reinsurance aspects and wordings.

His most recent  employment was  with Tawa Management where he created and implemented the Inspections and Audits processes and procedures and has led many on-site audits on behalf of its clients. He has also been involved in providing expert support for reinsurance matters arbitration and litigation as well as due diligence for potential purchases.

Prior to that he was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was involved in Schemes of Arrangements, specifically in assisting with the closure of The Charter Reinsurance Company Limited, and also in reinsurance investigations into the Independent Insurance Company. 

His previous career included positions as an underwriter, technician and outward reinsurance purchaser for various London Market Reinsurance Companies.
